Optimization of Parameters in Laser Powder Bed Fusion TA15 Titanium Alloy Using Taguchi Method

In this work, laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) was explored to fabricate TA15 (Ti-6Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V) titanium alloy based on the experimental design obtained by using Taguchi method. The impact of processing parameters (including power, scanning speed, and interval) density microhardness as-LPBFed analyzed method analysis variance (ANOVA). interaction among indicated a response surface graph (RSR). When energy adjusted 100 J/mm3, highest relative could reach 99.7%. further increase in input led reduction density, due formation tiny holes caused vaporization material at high absorption heat. Furthermore, order better reveal correlation between parameters, regression carried out for density. results showed that predicted values equation were nearly same.
